Julie Auch Biography (from her website):

I am a graduate of Yankton High School, a third-generation business woman in Yankton, and a longtime New York Life Financial Consultant. I began my New York Life career in 2005. My husband Gary and I are fifth-generation farmers, managing a cow-calf and crops operation. We have four children and seven grandchildren.

I never expected to find myself in the role of politician or activist. However, I have decided to step up and do all I can to make a difference for the citizens of Yankton County, my lifelong home.

I have traveled all over the United States, and there is no doubt that South Dakota is still the best place to raise a family, establish a business, and retire. My desire is to play a small role in ensuring that the atmosphere of District 18 and the State of South Dakota retains those positive attributes.
