TED Founder Richard Wurman gives a colorful interview about why he created TED and he claims to only care about himself, but insists on doing good work. He shares that he doesn’t particularly like the direction that TED has taken over the years, especially since he sold the company. He is bothered by the “Save the World” theme versus the original intent of providing “Ideas Worth Sharing”.
Richard also gives us his thoughts on the effect of technology on people over the ages, his views about education (which is his passion lately), and his current and future projects.
