The bottom line: If something bad happens and the grid goes down or the food distribution channel is disturbed for a sustained period, are you prepared? A natural disaster or terrorist attack can also be extremely disruptive and something you should be prepared for.

 
Today’s show we talk with former NYPD Commanding Officer Keith Singer to discuss how to prepare for a crisis. His service with the NYPD had him managing many crises including 911, Hurricane Sandy, and the 2003 Blackout. He discusses with us how to be prepared and what leaders should do to effectively manage during these difficult situations.
