Funding Terrorism – Who is Funding Them, How are They Getting Away With It, and Why are They Doing It?

This show was planned before the terrible attack at the Belgium airport. But, after that horrible incident, this issue seems even more critical to understand. Terrorist funding is a huge business that is haunting legitimate industries and citizens. The size of the entire black industry and laundered money business is estimated to be in the hundreds of billions to possibly over a trillion dollars each year. If this industry were a country, it would be the 15th largest country in the world in GDP size behind Spain. Of this pie, terrorism funding is a huge slice. What percentage is this slice is hard to know according to terrorism funding expert Amit Kumar. But what we do know is that it is a very large part of the equation.
