Prior to founding Marcolli Executive Excellence, Christian was an elite athlete, playing soccer professionally for several years. Afterwards, he took the leading role for six years in holding sports lessons in Swiss federal jails – an extremely demanding socio-psychological environment.

Christian earned his Ph.D. in Applied Psychology at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. In 2000, he was awarded the title of “International Certified Mental Training Consultant” by the International Society for Mental Training and Excellence and the International Coaching School of Canada. He completed his training in Performance – and Sport Psychology in 1996 at the University of Ottawa and has extensive and comprehensive expertise in systemic coaching.

Christian lives with his wife and his two sons in Switzerland. His mother tongue is German; he also speaks English, French and Italian fluently. He conducts his programs and offers in English as well as in German.
