James H. Fetzer is a distinguished McKnight University Professor Emeritus at the University of Minnesota Duluth. He has published more than 100 articles and reviews and 20 books in the philosophy of science and on the theoretical foundations of computer science, artificial intelligence, and cognitive science, and has done applied philosophical research on events including the death of JFK and the Sandy Hook school shooting.
